Beauty Standards

Beauty and fashion are the universal concept, yet it varies with different culture. What one people consider beauty varies for other . Beauty is in the perspective of the people/society . Each region has its own beauty standards. However ,emotional intelligence, personal qualities like kindness, empathy, and confidence, are increasingly valued as essential characteristics of beauty.

East Asia :

In countries like Korea , Japan and china Very Fair skin are considered as beauty . In South Korea ,thin body, big eyes, pale skin ,delicate lips and face are considered beautiful. They follow variety of skin care routines.

Africa :

Africa has a different beauty standard where Fuller lips, braided hair and curvier bodies are celebrated.

South Asia :

In countries like India Fair skin, Curvy figure ,Long dark hair are considered beautiful.

Europe :

Many European countries prioritize pale skin, light colour eyes and blonde hair.

America :

Light-Skinned ,Blue eyes and Blonde hair is the American standard of beauty.

Western Countries :

Features like clear skin ,being thin and tall and Symmetrical facial features are beauty standards.
